A 3 Bedroom Villa located in Lanzarote, Canary Islands
The country estate La Crucita spreads over a surface area of 7,500 square metres and is situated in the village of Haría, in the north of Lanzarote. A 2002 census showed a total of 1,189 inhabitants in the village.La Crucita is surrounded by over 50 palm trees, the majority of which are over one hundred years old, and it is set in a valley in which thousands of these species thrive.
The estate boasts eight houses, each one different from the other, and they are fully equipped, whereby one of them is the main house , and has a surface area of 500 square metres.
Each one bears the name of a village in the municipality; Haría, the main one, Yé, Máguez, Órzola, Tabayesco, Arrieta, Mala y Guinate.
The estate and the houses have been designed for the disabled , free of obstacles and architectural barriers. Apart from the houses and open spaces at La Crucita, there is a garden area containing some twenty palm trees and an area for playing the traditional Canarian bowling game (petanca).
The building style of the houses on La Crucita finds its inspiration in the traditional architecture of Lanzarote. The chimneys- up to 8 different ones-, the earthenware and wooden floors blend together with a generous use of carpentering in the ceilings, doors, windows and floors.
In keeping with tradition, special emphasis has been place upon the gardens, with some plants exclusively from the island and from the Canaries, whilst others are from other places.
All the houses are furnished in a rustic style, have wooden wardrobes rather than built-in cupboards and are equipped with a vitro ceramic hob, oven, satellite television and automatic washing machine.

Property Description
The municipality of Haría extends over the north of Lanzarote, and it is here that the highest mountains above sea level are to be found. It is noted for its fertility, as is in particular the valley of Haría, where Finca La Crucita is situated. Away from tourist development, Haría reveals itself as as an oasis amongst the general tone of aridity which is so characteristic of the rest of the island. For this reason it is known for its Valley of Ten Thousand Palm Trees, due to the presence of these species, many of which are over a hundred years old. Procedures have been undertaken to declare the old town centre as a Historic and Artistic Site.
A visit to the tree-lined square Plaza de León y Castillo is a must. This is the very nerve-centre of the village and the Museum of Sacred Art is to be found there. The main road north leads to Guinate from which there is a panoramic viewpoint overlooking the group of islets situated to the north of the island. We recommend seeing the agrarian countryside on route between Guinate and Órzola, a fishing village which connects Lanzarote to the nearby island of La Graciosa. Saturdays Handcraft Market in Haría
